Im Januar habe einen Kimono Workshop mit Tea Tasting besucht. Die liebe Veronika von Wagokoro e.V. macht auch private Kimono Workshops und einen von diesen habe ich erneut besucht. Der Workshop hat auch dieses Mal wieder bei ANMO stattgefunden. Nachdem Anziehen der Kimonos, durften wir spezielle Neujahr Tee‘s probieren.Ich liebe dieses kleinen Kimono Workshops, weil die Gruppen recht klein sind und man sehr viel Zeit hat, denn jeder bekommt alles sehr genau erklärt. Veronika nimmt sich für jeden Teilnehmer sehr viel Zeit und beantwortet geduldig alle Fragen. Ich mag diese Atmosphäre, denn ich konnte auch diesmal viele Fragen stellen und mein Kimonowissen erweitern. Die Gruppe war diesmal sehr harmonisch und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß. Da wir alle verschiedene Kimonos hatten, egal ob von uns selber oder von Veronika geliehen, hat Veronika uns viel über die verschiedenen Arten von Kimonos erklärt. Auch hat sie extra ein Beispiel mitgebracht um uns einen sehr alten Kimono zu zeigen, denn man früher im Winter getragen hat.
Last januar I attended a Kimono Workshop with Tea Tasting. The lovely Veronika from Wagokoro e.V. also does a few kimono workshops privately, and I revisited one of these. The workshop retook place this time at ANMO, where we were able to try special New Year’s teas after putting on the kimono.I love this little kimono workshop because the groups are quite small, you have so sufficient time and everything is explained and shown in detail. Veronika really takes time for everyone and answers all upcoming questions. I like this atmosphere because I was able to ask a lot of questions and expand my kimono knowledge. The group was also very harmonious, and we had a lot of fun. Since we all had different kimonos, whether borrowed from ourselves or borrowed from Veronika, Veronika explained a lot to us about the different types of kimonos. She also brought an example to show us an ancient kimono, because people used to wear it earlier in winter.
Nachdem wir uns angezogen hatten, hat Motoko von ANMO uns verschiedene Neujahr Tees probieren lassen. Wir haben den speziellen Neujahrs-Matcha getrunken, der einen herrlichen Duft besitzt und einen reichen Umami-Geschmack. Außerdem haben wir Oobukucha, ein Genmaicha getrunken, den man in Kyoto traditionell zum Neujahr trinkt. Der Name Oobuku bedeutet großes Glück. Beide Tee’s waren wieder einmal sehr lecker und ich musste sie natürlich auch sofort für zu Hause mitnehmen, damit ich diesen köstlichen Geschmack auch zu Hause genießen kann. Dazu hat Motoko Zenzai gemacht, was wirklich sehr lecker schmeckte. Ich hatte vorher Zenzai noch nie probiert, aber es schmeckte köstlich. Ich selber habe Matcha-Nerikiri mitgemacht, die mit Anko gefüllt waren. Ich habe sie diesmal komplett selber hergestellt und habe mich sehr gefreut, als sie den anderen geschmeckt haben. Das Zenzai und auch die Nerikiris haben perfekt zu den verschiedenen Tee’s harmonisiert. Es war ein wunderschöner Nachmittag und ich freue mich sehr, wenn ich bald wieder einen Kimono Workshop mit Teatasting von Veronika und Anmo besuchen kann. Denn ich konnte viel über Kimonos und auch die verschiedenen Teesorten lernen und hatte dabei sehr viel Spaß.
After we got dressed, Motoko from ANMO let us try different New Year’s teas. We drank the unique New Year’s matcha, which had a beautiful fragrance and a rich umami taste. We also drank Oobukucha, a Genmaicha that is traditionally drunk in Kyoto for the New Year. The name Oobuku means great luck. Both versions of teas were again delicious, and of course, I had to take them home immediately so that I could enjoy this delicious taste at home. Also, Motoko’s Zenzai tasted heavenly good. I had never tried it before, but it was super tasty. I went through Matcha-Nerikiri, which were filled with Anko. I made them entirely by myself this time and was very happy when they tasted the other. The Zenzai and the nerikiris also harmonized perfectly with the different teas.It was an enjoyable afternoon, and I am delighted to be able to attend a kimono workshop with tea tasting by Veronika and Anmo again soon. Because I was able to learn a lot about kimonos and the different types of tea and had a lot of fun.
