Bei meinem letzten Besuch in Tokyo war ich auch im Kimono Shop Inkimono von Stasia. Ich hatte schon im Mai bei Stasia ein wunderschönes Shooting gemacht und musste natürlich unbedingt ihren neuen Shop besuchen. Der Shop hatte erst ein paar Tage vorher eröffnet. Der Shop von Stasia liegt in Asakusa, in dem gleichen Viertel wo auch mein Hotel liegt, trotzdem war es nicht so leicht ihren Shop zu finden, was an meinem schlechten Orientierungssinn liegt. Habe aber den Shop, mit Hilfe von Google Maps, dann endlich gefunden.
Last time I visited Tokyo, I was in the Kimono Shop Inkimono of Stasia. I had already done a beautiful shoot in May with her, and of course, I wanted to visit her new shop. The Opening of the Shop was just a few days before my arrival. Stasia’s shop is in Asakusa, in the same district as my hotel, but it was not so easy to find her shop, which is due to my poor sense of orientation. After a bit of searching, I found her shop with the Help of Google Maps.
Von außen sieht der Shop schon sehr hübsch aus, aber was mich Innen erwartet hat, hat mich wirklich sprachlos gemacht, so schön ist er. Als ich den Laden betrat, wurde ich direkt herzlich von Stasia begrüßt, die mir sehr stolz ihren Shop zeigte. Im vorderen Teil des Ladens befinden sich die Verkaufswaren und im hinteren Teil hat Stasia alles was sie für die Shootings braucht. Der Shop ist klein aber wunderschön gestaltet. Man sieht wie viel Liebe Stasia in ihren Shop steckt. Alles ist schön dekoriert und es gibt so viele schöne Kimonos. Neben den vielen wunderschönen Kimonos bot Stasia damals auch Broschen, Obis und andere Kleidungstücke sowie Accessoires, die perfekt zum Thema Kimono passen, an. Sie erzählte mir, dass sie ihr Sortiment noch um einiges mehr erweitern möchte.
From the outside, the shop looks very pretty, but what was waiting for me inside really left me speechless, it’s so beautiful. When I entered the shop, I was greeted warmly by Stasia, who showed me her shop full of pride. In the front part of the shop, you find the sales goods and in the rear part Stasia has everything she needs for the shootings. The shop is small but beautifully designed. You can see how much love Stasia put in her shop. Everything is beautifully decorated, and there are so many beautiful kimonos. I could have spent hours in her shop, okay I was there a few hours too. 😉 In addition to the many beautiful kimonos, Stasia also offered brooches, Obis and other items of clothing and accessories that perfectly match the theme of kimonos, she told me that she wanted to expand her range even more.
Stasia hat mir sehr geholfen ein paar wunderschöne Kimonos zu finden. Was ich besonders toll bei ihr finde ist, dass sie auch darauf achtet, dass die Kimonos einem wirklich passen. In vielen Geschäften wird man eher weniger beraten und muss selber schauen ob sie passen. Bei Inkimono ist das anders. Stasia nimmt sich die Zeit einem jeden Kimono anzuziehen und zu schauen ob er auch wirklich sitzt. Sie sucht mit einem auch die passenden Obis raus und achtet darauf, das alles perfekt sitzt. Ich finde dies ganz toll, wie oft bin ich mir unsicher ob der Kimono wirklich richtig sitzt. Deswegen freue ich mich so sehr darüber, dass sie einen die Kimonos und Obis anziehen lässt und schaut ob sie auch passen. Ich freue mich jetzt schon total darauf, ihren Shop im April wieder zu besuchen.

What I find particularly amazing about her is that she also looks that the kimonos really fit you. In many shops, no advice is given, and you have to see for yourself whether they fit. It is very different at Inkimono. Stasia takes the time to let you try on every kimono to see if it really fits. She also looks for the right Obis and makes sure that everything fits perfectly.
I am often not sure whether the kimono really fits appropriately. That’s why I’m so happy that Stasia helps you. When you leave the shop, you can be sure that the kimono, obi etc. look great. I’m really looking forward to revisiting in April.
