Dort einen Platz zu bekommen ist nicht so einfach. Ich würde empfehlen unter der Woche zu gehen, denn am Wochenende sind die Plätze schnell weg. Man kann einen Monat vorher auf der Homepage einen Platz reservieren. Dann wird auch erst der Kalender freigeschaltet. Es nicht so einfach ist einen Platz zu bekommen, aber ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Getting a seat at the cafe is not easy. I would recommend going during the week because places are quickly gone on weekends. You can reserve a spot on the homepage a month in advance. The calendar will be activated, and you see it filling in minutes. Even if it is not so easy to get a place, a visit is definitely worth it.
Ich bin selber mit Pokémon groß geworden und deswegen ist es immer ein Highlight für mich, das Cafe zu besuchen. Es gibt auch immer verschiedene Themengerichte, welche immer nur für kurze Zeit angeboten werden. Als ich beim letzten Mal dort war, gab es als Spezial Gericht tagsüber ein Psiana und abends ein Nachtara Gesicht. Für mich als Evoli Fan war das echt super. Man bekommt eine feste Zeit zu der man kommen muss. Sollte man zu spät sein darf man leider nicht mehr rein. Alle Gäste kommen zu einem festgelegten Zeitpunkt, so dass es immer einen kompletten Wechsel der Gäste gibt. Wenn man dort ankommt zeigt man seine Reservierung und man wird zu seinem Platz gebracht. Da ich immer alleine reise, habe ich einen Platz an dem großen Tisch in der Mitte bekommen. Was ein sehr großer Vorteil ist, denn den Special Gast sieht man am Ende der Zeit so besser.

There was a Psiana as a special dish during the day and an Umbreon dish in the evening. For me, as an Evoli fan, it was really great. You get a fixed time where you have to come. If you are too late, it’s not allowed to go in. All guests arrive at the same time, so it is always a complete change of guests. When you get there, you show your reservation, and you will be taken to your seat. Since I always travel alone, I got a place at the big table in the middle. Which is a huge advantage, because you can see the special guest better at the end of the reservation time.
Am Tisch bekommt man dann das Tablet erklärt über das man bestellt. Da ich kurz vor Halloween da war, war die Unterlegmatte ein Halloweenmotiv. Diese Matte darf man auch mit nach Hause nehmen. Ich habe mir als Getränk einen Lavados Soda Cocktail mit Eis. Der wie immer sehr köstlich war. Ich hatte bei meinem vorherigen Besuch den gleichen Cocktail schon mit Zapdos und Arktos getrunken. Immer wenn man ein Getränk bestellt, kommt eine Kellnerin und man macht ein Spiel und bekommt einen Untersetzer mit einem Pokémon Motiv. Auch diese Motive wechseln öfters. Zu essen hatte ich mir das Nachtara Menü bestellt, was aus einem Nachtara Burger, Pommes und einer Suppe bestand. Auch hier war das essen wieder super schön angerichtet und hat auch gut geschmeckt.
At the table, you are then told about the tray you order. Since I was there shortly before Halloween, the mat was a Halloween motif. You can also take this mat home with you. My drink was a Moltres Soda Cocktail with ice. As always, it was very delicious. I had already had the same cocktail with Zapdos and Articuno on my previous visit. Whenever you order a drink, a waitress comes playing a game with you to get a coaster with a Pokémon theme. These motifs also change frequently. I ordered the Umbreon menu, which consisted of an Umbreon burger, fries and a soup. Again, the food was lovely and tasted good too.
Zum Nachtisch habe ich mir dann einen Pummelluff Kuchen bestellt. Auch dieser war wie alle Gerichte im Pokémon Cafe super schön angerichtet. Und zum trinken einen Evoli Kakao, man die Tasse, für einen leinen Aufpreis, mit nach Hause nehmen.
Ich liebe es, dass das Thema Pokémon wirklich bis zum kleinsten Punkt umgesetzt wird. Auch die Einrichtung des Cafés ist vollständig auf das Thema abgestimmt. Überall stehen Pokémon Figuren, ob auf dem großen Tisch an dem ich saß oder als Deko im Raum. Gegen Ende der Zeit kommt immer ein ganz besonderer Gast der von einem Kellner angekündigt wird. An diesem Abend war es ein Pikachu in einer Kochschürze das für uns tanzte und uns unterhalten hat. Jeder durfte Pikachu auch die Hand geben. In so einem Moment werde selbst ich nochmal zum kleinen Kind und machte bei dem Entertainment Programm mit.

And to drink an Eevee hot chocolate, you can take the cup home with you for a small surcharge I love that the Pokémon theme is really implemented down to the most minor point. The interior of the café is also fully tailored to the topic. Pokémon figures are everywhere, whether on the large table I was sitting at or as decoration in the room. Towards the end of the timeframe, there is always an extraordinary guest who is announced by a waiter. That evening it was a Pikachu in a cooking apron that danced for us and entertained us. Everyone was allowed to shake hands with Pikachu. In such a moment, even I became a small child again and took part in the entertainment program.
Ich kann jedem Pokémonfan einen Besuch im Pokémon Café in Tokyo nur empfehlen. Man kann dort auch anschließend noch passende Pokémon Café Fanartikel kaufen, die es nur dort gibt. Wer vorher oder nach dem Besuch noch Zeit hat, kann das Pokémon Center direkt daneben besuchen, wo es wirklich alles gibt was das Herz jedes Pokémon Fans höher schlagen lässt.
